About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading financial accounting and controls, as well as financial operations. This includes managing the audit process for multiple on-balance sheet investments, working with front office teams to assess the accounting implications of new business and investments, and developing and implementing controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. The role also involves enhancing intra-group funding, transfer pricing, and equity accounting, as well as improving management reporting capabilities. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree and a CPA. Experience in accounting for and managing principal investments, familiarity with accounts payable operations, and a strong background in Sarbanes Oxley compliance are essential. The role requires the ability to research and analyze accounting matters, draft and implement formal accounting policies, and drive continuous improvement in accounting practices and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to enhancing financial processes and be adept at working with various teams, including in-house and external valuation experts.
