Job Description
Join our healthcare team as a Telemetry/Progressive Care Nurse. This role involves providing specialized care in a progressive care unit, focusing on monitoring patients with cardiac conditions as well as other critical health issues.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in the telemetry unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding care processes and health status.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1-2 years of PCU and Telemetry experience required.
- Preferred experience includes 2+ years in Med/Surg.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC, and NIH.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia is mandatory.
