Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel/Contract

Location: Decatur, Illinois
Facility: Decatur Memorial Hospital
Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Total Staffed Beds: 372

Position Details

• Specialty: Stepdown/PCU
• Shift: Nights, 4x12 or 3x12 (1800-0630)
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call: No
• Floating: Will float as needed within scope
• Block Schedule: Possible, discuss with manager
• Locals Accepted: Yes, no radius restrictions
• License: Must have active Illinois RN license
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required based on unit

Required Skills and Experience

• Work Setting: PCU
• Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response: Telemetry (remote monitoring),
• Electronic Health Record: Epic/Cerner experience required
• Preferred: Teaching hospital experience, Trauma Level II experience

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
