Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Johnson City, TN 37604

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) / Rotating weekends and holidays required

 

Weekly Breakdown:

Weekly Gross: $2,362.00 Per Week

On W2(Taxable): $1,116.00 Per Week

Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,246.00 Per Week

 

Requirements:

• License: Active RN License – required at time of submission
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Certifications:
  • Required: AHA BLS
  • Preferred: AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• Charting: Experience with Epic – required
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
• Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring)
• Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Tracheostomy Management
• Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac)
• CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC
• Colostomy & Feeding tube care
• PCA, Insulin, Heparin administration
• Pre/Post Neuro & Cardiac Surgery Care
• Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Blood Product Administration
• Starting IVs, Phlebotomy
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis
• Ortho trauma and post-joint replacement care
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration

Local Radius Rule: Candidates must live 100+ miles from facility (locals not accepted)
