PS Companies is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

PS Companies is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for an opening based in Wausau, WI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position

Shift: 3x12 Variable shift, rotating between days and nights every week or 2 weeks

Float to all inpatient units; would be given appropriate patient assignments .

Unit Overview (Patient ratio, etc.): MAP Unit – Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take Peds patients). The major conditions/most frequent diagnoses treated: Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal. Typical patient ratios on days 1:4-5 and on nights 1:6-7

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Active WI or Compact License.
2 years of Med Surg experience
Trauma Level II experience
Travel experience preferred
Epic experience
BLS (AHA) Certification
Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
