Investors Title Insurance Company is seeking a Title Insurance Underwriter to join our high performing, service-oriented team. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with excellent computer skills and outstanding attention to detail, who is passionate about providing top-notch customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Position Highlights:

• Receive and respond to customer inquiries requesting status, rate quotes, title defects, clearing exceptions or general information.
• Review search/title opinion to determine status of title, risk analysis and underwriting requirements and exceptions.
• Underwrite and type commitments, policies and endorsements according to agency goal.
• Produce daily and monthly reports as indicated by Marketing/Operations Officer.
• Maintain inventory of policy jackets, forms and promotional items.

Position Qualifications:

• Solid computer and typing skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in real estate transactions, underwriting as it relates to title insurance, mortgage lending, legal support and/or loan processing PREFERRED.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, organize workload, and maintain accurate files.
