Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java/Go + Elasticsearch) Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Visa: USC OR GC Duration: Contract (Long-term potential) Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Elastic Web Services (EWS) team, supporting tools such as the Provider Carrier Entity Search. This role requires strong backend development experience with a focus on Elasticsearch DSL , Java or Go , and cloud-native technologies . You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise-level applications in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Elasticsearch DSL , Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus) or Go

• Collaborate with architects, BAs, and engineers to deliver enterprise software solutions

• Develop APIs, business logic, and service integration layers

• Work within AWS environments, integrating tools like Kafka and MongoDB/DocumentDB

• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and tier 3 support

• Ensure software quality through testing, documentation, and best practices

Required Skills:

1. Elasticsearch DSL expert-level proficiency

2. Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus) or Go solid backend development

3. AWS cloud-native development and deployment

4. Kafka real-time data streaming experience

5. MongoDB or DocumentDB NoSQL data management

6. Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture and enterprise patterns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 4 6 years of relevant software engineering experience

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Nice to Have:

• Experience with UI/UX or full-stack development

• Familiarity with microservices security and observability
