The Computer Network Support Specialist, Senior supports the Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) Department, Code 720000D/E contract. The IT/IM Department's mission is to provide IT and Cybersecurity support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). The IT/IM Department is a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)-wide competency responsible for supporting development, planning, execution, monitoring, and lifecycle support of IT/IM programs within the Weapons Division command. It provides non-Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) products and services, including corporate IT solutions, tools, and site-specific support. The mission is to ensure that NAWCWD IT infrastructure, tools, and applications are compliant with DoD regulations, operational, and adaptable to new technologies and threats. The Senior Computer Network Support Specialist analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing network systems, such as LAN, WAN, and Internet systems. They perform network maintenance to ensure minimal disruptions and may supervise other Network Specialists. Clearance required: Secret; Final/Top Secret eligibility preferred.
