The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Social Media & Marketing Manager to lead social strategy, content development, and execution across both our internal channels and a roster of industry-leading clients. This is a full-time, hybrid role — primarily remote with regular in-person collaboration in Salt Lake City.
You’ll own the day-to-day operations of our social media ecosystem, run paid and organic campaigns, support content production, manage community engagement, and play a key role in growing the digital presence of brands across the outdoor, CPG, and sustainable ag space.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Black Koles social presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, email, and WordPress
- Lead strategy and execution of social media for multiple clients across the outdoor, regenerative agriculture, and CPG sectors
- Develop content calendars, write copy, and create wireframes in collaboration with our creative and strategy teams
- Source and curate content , including briefing internal teams and external creators to ensure alignment with brand tone and objectives
- Plan and schedule posts using Dash Hudson, Meta Business Suite, and other publishing tools
- Run and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta platforms and YouTube via Google Ads
- Oversee influencer and creator partnerships , from outreach and briefing to execution and content approvals
- Manage community engagement , including timely responses to inbound messages and proactive outreach to relevant accounts to support growth and brand visibility
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics , turning insights into actionable optimizations
- Conduct brand audits and competitive reviews to inform client strategy
- Collaborate with client-side creative teams , including art directors and in-house designers, to develop bespoke assets for social campaigns
- Stay up to date on platform updates, tools, and content trends, integrating new approaches where relevant
- Contribute to internal process improvement and support onboarding or mentorship of junior team members as needed

- CMS & Email: WordPress, Mailchimp or similar
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing, ideally across multiple brands or in an agency setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Strategic Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field
- Proven experience running successful paid/boosted campaigns on Meta and YouTube
- Strong grasp of platform-specific strategy and content trends
- Skilled at community management with a focus on tone, brand integrity, and engagement growth
- Excellent writing and editing skills, especially for short-form and branded content
- Ability to interpret analytics and turn data into actionable insights
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize across multiple timelines
- Comfortable presenting strategies and reports to both internal and client-facing teams
- Interest in or connection to the outdoor, agriculture, or CPG sectors
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience
- Bonus: Eligibility for annual performance-based bonus tied to personal and company performance
