Now Hiring: Immediate Need for a full-time perm hybrid Security Operations Manager . Location: NY area (Syracuse suburb). Salary:$149-165K+ Benefits. 2 days per wk in office.
Job Scope: New hire will be responsible for developing and driving the IT Security Incident Management team, processes and capabilities, the Vulnerability Management process and capabilities, the Cyber & Phishing Security Awareness process and capabilities, and the investigation and forensic documentation of reported IT Security policy violations.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent experience preferred; Graduate degree in Information Security
- Experience with NIST, CIS, and ITIL Highly desirable; Retail experience a plus.
- Minimum 10 years experience in Information Technology required.
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT Security Experience with Security Incident Management, GRC, IAM, Threat Intel, SOC, Vulnerability/Penetration testing, Data Security, SDLC, Cloud Security required.
- Experience performing security investigations required.
- Experience with Vulnerability Management tools required.
- Experience with 3rd party penetration testing activities is highly preferred.
- Certifications: CISSP, GCFA, GCFE, CEH or GPEN is highly desirable. GSEC, SSCP, ECSA or CISM is desirable. MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, or CCNP is a plus.
