As a Security Officer - Access Control in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support a positive experience for all personnel and visitors. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving responsibilities may be part of your duties. Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or hazards observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders when necessary to address incidents or emergencies in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
