Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Elementary School Social Worker in the western suburb near Shabbona, IL

We're currently seeking a dedicated  Licensed School Social Worker ($53-$58)  to work full time and support  PreK–4th grade students in the Shabbona, IL  area  for the 2025-2026 school year .

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work along with a PEL with school social work endorsement

Role Overview:
As a School Social Worker, you'll provide critical support to students. You'll collaborate with another social worker to address students' social-emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

• Dates:  Starts August 11, 2025, with an Orientation Day of August 4, 2025, through May 22, 2026
• Hours:   8:15 - 3:15 (full time)
• Caseload: All elementary caseload - Pre-K-4th grade
• In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group social work services to students
• You will work with IEP/Gen ED students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
