Revenue Cycle Specialist
Remote - CST/EST preferred
$22 an hour
JOB OVERVIEW:

The Revenue Cycle Specialist, performs complex clerical and accounting functions for patient billing, including verification of invoice information, maintenance of third-party billing records, and resolution of problems. The Revenue Cycle Specialist follows up on submitted claims and patient billing, resubmits claims or corrects inaccuracies. The Revenue Cycle Specialist may handle cash items and accounts receivable posting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for submitting clean claims to third party insurance companies and to patients in a timely fashion. The Revenue Cycle Specialist will follow-up on denials and outstanding accounts receivable. Additionally, the Revenue Cycle Specialist will be responsible for answering any patient inquiries regarding billing issues.
The Revenue Cycle Specialist will also participate in the development of organization procedures and update of forms or manuals.
