Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
In this niche role, you will specialize in fluency disorders and public speaking confidence. Serving students across South Dakota remotely, youll help those with stuttering, cluttering, or performance anxiety gain the tools they need to succeed in oral presentations, leadership roles, and classroom participation.
Duties:
Provide individualized teletherapy focused on fluency shaping and stuttering modification.
Design interventions for anxiety-related communication issues (e.g., selective mutism, oral test avoidance).
Create structured plans for improving oral presentation skills in academic settings.
Incorporate mindfulness and breathing strategies into therapy.
Track student confidence and participation levels using self-assessment tools.
Collaborate with speech and debate coaches, drama instructors, or classroom teachers.
