From natural, drug-free births and midwife-assisted labor to births requiring advanced care, the Potash Women & Newborn Center accommodates a variety of birth experiences.

Essential Functions
\n· Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
\n· Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
\n· Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
\n· Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
\n· Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
\n· All RNs are expected to be cross trained to all areas of the unit - Labor and Delivery, Level II NICU, Newborn Nursery, OR, and Postpartum
\nAdditional Responsibilities
\nSchedule:
\nFull time: Day/Night rotation **There may also be potential for straight nights based on availability and discretion of the management team
\n· Alternating weekend/holidays
\n· Some call shifts will be required
Qualifications
Experience Requirement:
\nOne (1) year of inpatient RN experience required. OBGYN/Women's Health preferred.
\nEducation Requirements:
\nBachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
\nMinimum of Diploma/Associate’s Degree in nursing from accredited program required.
\nLicense Requirements:
\nRegistered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio required.
