Pride Health is hiring a dedicated Assistant Manager of Radiology - Outpatient Imaging to join our outpatient imaging team. This leadership role supports daily operations, staff development, patient care, and quality standards while upholding the core values.

Position Summary

The Assistant Manager of Radiology - Outpatient Imaging works under the supervision of the Manager of Radiology to oversee daily operations, staff management, patient care, and quality assurance in designated outpatient imaging areas. This role ensures that financial, operational, and performance objectives are met while fostering a positive, patient-centered environment. The Assistant Manager also serves as a role model, supporting core values and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily staffing, scheduling, and productivity to meet budget targets.
  • Promote staff satisfaction, development, and accountability through coaching and progressive discipline when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Title 17 & 22, and ACR standards.
  • Oversee quality improvement initiatives and patient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with nursing, clerical staff, physicians, and other hospital departments to coordinate imaging services.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and the care team to resolve concerns.
  • Supervise Lead Technologists, Senior Technologists, and support staff.
  • Maintain technical competency to assist in direct diagnostic procedures when needed.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and support ongoing training and education.

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience:
  • 5+ years as a Diagnostic Technologist in acute-care.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in acute-care (3–5 years preferred).
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current CRT (CA) or ARRT License.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Specialized certifications (CRT, NMTBC, MRI, etc.) preferred.
  • Patient Population Served: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult & Geriatric

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, delegation, and team development abilities.
  • Knowledge of imaging quality assurance, radiation safety, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and resource management skills.
