Role: QC Microbiologist
Contract: 7 Months
Location: IL

Responsibilities:

Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Conduct environmental monitoring (EM) of cleanrooms and production areas.
Execute sterility testing, microbial limit testing, and endotoxin testing.
Support validation of aseptic processes and cleaning procedures.
Identify and investigate microbial contamination sources.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports as per GMP standards.
Assist in audits, regulatory inspections, and CAPA implementation.
Ensure compliance with pharmacopeial and regulatory guidelines (e.g., USP, FDA, WHO).

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Microbiology or related life sciences field.
6-7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment (freshers may be considered for entry-level roles).
Knowledge of aseptic techniques, GMP, and microbiological testing methods.
Familiarity with equipment like autoclaves, incubators, laminar airflow units, etc.
Strong documentation and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a cleanroom and follow safety protocols.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in sterile or injectable product facilities.
Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, EU GMP, ICH).
Basic understanding of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes.
