Exciting Direct Hire Opportunity!
Our Client, a growing construction company specializing in midstream compressor stations, metering stations, gas processing facilities, and cryogenic gas plants in Houston, is seeking a Project Manager - Deep Foundations / Pilings. In this role you would be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned piling projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Determine and define piling project scope and objectives.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Respond to request for proposal from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project costs in order to meet budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Create, execute and revise project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics.
- Identify resources needed and manage team responsibilities.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects that includes coordination with field staff.
- Ensure that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
- Ensure the project team follows the Audubon standards and procedures.
- Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hr turnaround.
- Responsible for maintaining the resource planning on assigned projects.
- Manage the project budget and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical college in civil and/or construction management.
- 5+ years of project management and field experience working in the deep foundation space is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
- Strong Leadership Capabilities.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong familiarity with deep foundation piling projects.
- Experienced with various deep foundation process from driven piles, auger cast to helical piles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
- Lead and influence others without direct authority.
- Proven ability to follow through on change management.
