Who We’re Looking For We’re hiring two skilled
PRN Medical Assistan t to support our Nurse Practitioner while also managing front desk and receptionist duties. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, compassionate individual who thrives in a dynamic role and loves helping others. If you’ve got strong communication skills and a knack for multitasking, this could be your perfect fit.
What You’ll Do - Assist the Nurse Practitioner with minor procedures
- Assess conditions and provide preventative care and patient education
- Take vital signs and document accurately in our EMR system
- Verify insurance and collect payment from patients
- Greet patients, manage check-ins, and handle scheduling at the front desk
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with the care team
- Support a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and staff
What You Bring - Certified Medical Assistant credential (required)
- 1+ years of experience with vital signs (preferred)
- 1+ years working with EMR systems (required)
- BLS Certification (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for patient care
The Pay Range For This Role Is 15 - 18 USD per hour(Jackson, Mississippi)
