The Milford Police Department is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for police officers. Candidates that are currently employed as a full-time peace officer are not required to take the written exam and will submit applications (available at ) to Police Clerk Tina Kern at [email protected] or delivered to the Milford Police Department before 4:30 on September 11, 2025. Applicants who are not currently employed as a full-time peace officer must complete the PHQ application and take the entrance examination at a National Testing Network location by midnight on September 11, 2025. Applicants must be 21 years of age and certified as a peace officer by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy. Applicants must also be a legal U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and will be required to pass a complete background investigation, physical fitness, medical and psychological examination, including a drug and alcohol screen.
