About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Phlebotomist in Kalamazoo, MI . In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and be the friendly face of our company.
  • Perform skilled blood specimen collections for diagnostic testing.
  • Enjoy opportunities for continuous growth within our clinical laboratory environment.
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday and every other weekend from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Your Responsibilities

As a Phlebotomist, you will:

  • Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens and paternity tests.
  • Accurately enter patient information and process billing as needed.
  • Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when required.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred).
  • At least 6 months of previous phlebotomy experience (preferred).
  • A proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • The ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
