Pawnee Nation College Land Management Specialist AmeriCorps The mission of Pawnee Nation College (PNC) is to meet the higher educational & cultural needs of the Pawnee Nation, other surrounding Indian Nations, & all who have the desire to engage in a lifetime of learning. PNC's VISTA project seeks to increase food sovereignty & increase the economic condition of individuals and families of the Pawnee Nation and neighboring tribes by empowering tribal communities to understand how to control and manage their own lands and resources. The VISTA land manager will assist in development/maintenance of the tribal goals Member Duties : Conduct an analysis of current land use and potential land use of tribal lands. Develop training for students, PN Agriculture employees, and other stakeholders interested in land management possibilities such as agriculture, grazing, hunting and other.
