Summary
The Overnight Watch/Security team member is responsible for the security of the club and surrounding club property during closed hours. Start time is 11:30p.m. End time is 8 am (full time position). This position pays $28/hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
FRONT DESK:
Answer and route telephone calls in a courteous and pleasant manner.
Take telephone messages.
Greet members and guests; screen people entering the Club.
Provide schedule and club information to members and guests.
Accept reservations for restaurants and club functions.
Issue guest cards and maintain guest logs.
Operate and observe Fire and Security alarms.
Function as club communication hub, disseminating information to appropriate personnel and locations.
Post appropriate flags as Club Officers enter and leave the Club.
Maintain proper appearance of reception area.
Update announcement boards.
Update and maintain lost and found and other equipment check out.
SECURITY:
Keep unauthorized personnel away from the property to reduce the risks of theft, vandalism and assault.
Reduce the threat of damage to property due to fire, equipment failure, flooding and other emergencies.
Secure the premises, making sure exit doors and windows are locked.
Walk property rounds at least three times: at beginning of the shift (approximately 12:00a.m. and/or after all members have departed the club); second walk through at approximately 3:30a.m. and the third walkthrough at 6:00a.m.
Complete nightly report and ensure that all first aid kits are fully stocked.
Maintain a prominent level of visibility.
Constant watchfulness and effective reporting of events, such as strange vehicles or persons in the parking lots at unusual hours, loiterers, fire hazards, safety hazards, emergency situations.
Monitor temperatures of all coolers and freezers.
Turn lights off in rooms not in use.
Turn off kitchen hood fans after housekeeping staff departs and turn them on when morning staff arrives.
Monitor room temperatures and set heaters in rooms with morning events and turn heat off in rooms not in use.
Monitor security cameras.
DATA ENTRY
Mailing (mail merge, copying, folding, stuffing envelopes, stamping).
Printing Dining Room menus.
Updating beverage inventory sheet pricing.
Sending out monthly birthday cards to members.
Updating wine lists.
Updating and assembling various packets: catering department, race department.
Email schedules to staff.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate to advance user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop. Must learn other computer programs and/or applications which will assist in the completion of other
basic job duties.
