Base pay range $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr Roc Search is currently working with a leading State agency that is looking for an Oracle APEX Application Developer to join their team. As the Oracle APEX Application Developer , you will develop applications using Oracle APEX, with a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining complex database-driven solutions. A key responsibility will be developing a sophisticated attendance tracking system with intricate business logic, as well as assisting in the organization’s migration from FilePro to Oracle APEX. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX application development. Strong knowledge of Oracle database structures , PL/SQL, SQL, and performance tuning. Experience designing and building attendance tracking systems or similar workflow-heavy applications. Hands-on experience with migrating applications and data from legacy platforms (e.g., FilePro) to Oracle APEX. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Oracle APEX . Build and implement a custom attendance tracking system with complex logic and rules based on organizational needs. Design and optimize Oracle database structures, including tables, views, indexes, and PL/SQL packages. Migrate legacy applications and data from FilePro to Oracle APEX , ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing APEX applications. Follow best practices in development, security, performance tuning, and version control.
