Job Description

Robert Half Technology is seeking an experienced and highly motivated NetSuite Administrator to lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of our NetSuite environment. This individual will be responsible for managing system integrations, resolving data import errors, building custom workflows, and streamlining processes using SuiteScript. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage projects end-to-end, and partner closely with non-technical finance users to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-5pm) - PST

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support all aspects of NetSuite, including configuration, customization, and user support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data import issues, particularly related to inventory files and reconciliations.
  • Lead a full NetSuite reconsolidation project from start to finish—setting up backlog, building processes, and implementing new functionality.
  • Design, build, and deploy custom workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reports, and custom fields.
  • Automate manual processes and streamline operations through scripting using SuiteScript.
  • Support month-end close processes and tools such as MAX.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to understand business requirements and deliver clear, user-friendly technical solutions.
  • Educate and guide non-technical users through system changes and new processes.
  • 3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator.
  • Strong background in NetSuite configuration, customization, and user support.
  • Hands-on experience with data imports, integrations, and resolving import errors (especially inventory-related data).
  • Proven ability to build NetSuite environments from scratch (workflows, custom fields, saved searches, dashboards, and reports).
  • Proficiency with SuiteScript for process automation.
  • Familiarity with financial processes such as month-end close and reconciliations, and tools like MAX.
  • Excellent communication skills to partner with and support non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives to completion.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Basic understanding or background in accounting.
  • Experience with basic project management practices.
