Job Description
Aviation Search Group is partnered with a leading commercial MRO client based in Arizona to identify a seasoned Logistics Manager to oversee both inbound and outbound logistics operations across domestic and international channels. This key leader will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective logistics processes while driving performance and coordination across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage logistics operations across two sites.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs).
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Collaborate with LSPs for warehousing, customs brokerage, and hazardous materials transportation.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international export/import regulations.
- Lead the Receiving Team in alignment with FAA Quality Systems and company policies.
- Review receiving metrics and implement process improvements as needed.
- Coordinate the dispatching of drivers and fleet vehicles across facilities.
- Schedule and communicate material deliveries and pickups effectively.
- Occasional travel between Marana and Tucson facilities; potential international travel as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or international trade.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Familiarity with FAA compliance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
