Continue with Google 1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants Essential Key Job Responsibilities Oversee the complete administration of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related medical imaging applications infrastructure. Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of PACS and related medical imaging applications software and hardware components. Facilitate the resolution and documentation of major incidents and outages in the production environment. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient use of PACS. Monitor and optimize PACS performance, resolving issues to ensure uninterrupted access to medical imaging data. Provide technical support and training to end-users, troubleshooting complex PACS-related problems. Implement process improvements, collect data, and monitor systems and interfaces, including daily QC reports. Maintain current knowledge of processes involved in PACS administration. Respond to user requests and concerns regarding PACS and related systems. Inform medical imaging leadership of system changes, problems, and upgrades. Provide mentorship to junior PACS administrators and address complex issues. Implement and enforce data security protocols to protect patient information. Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to validate security measures. Work with IT teams to integrate PACS with other healthcare information systems. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance PACS capabilities. Develop and maintain documentation related to PACS policies, procedures, and best practices. Lead planning and execution of PACS upgrades, migrations, and expansions. Meet SLAs and ensure coverage for support calls. Must reside within one hour of supported facilities. Perform other duties as assigned.
