Position Overview

Seeking an experienced VP to support M&A advisory practices, combining financial analysis skills with a passion for digital entertainment. This role provides exposure to high-growth companies and strategic transactions in a dynamic sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis for investment opportunities and M&A transactions
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis in digital entertainment sectors
  • Create investment memoranda and transaction materials
  • Support due diligence processes
  • Develop industry-specific KPI analysis frameworks
  • Prepare client presentations and pitch materials
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging business models
  • Assist in relationship management with portfolio companies and acquisition targets

Qualifications

  • No STEM OPT, H1Bs transfer on a case-by-case basis
  • 5-6 years relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
  • Deep passion and immersion in the digital entertainment industry
  • Hands-on engagement with gaming, esports, or digital media platforms
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics
  • Financial modeling and valuation expertise
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with capital markets and M&A databases (e.g., PitchBook, CapIQ)
