Insurance Sales & Marketing Internship We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Marketing Intern to assist with various marketing initiatives, including event coordination, social media management, networking, cold calling, and other projects as assigned. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused business environment while contributing to our marketing and growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination:
- Represent Clint Wilson State Farm at local events, booths, and community activities.
- Assist in planning and executing event logistics, including setup, promotion, and follow-up.
- Social Media Management:
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging content for platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments/messages, and analyze performance metrics.
- Networking & Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, including referral partners like mortgage brokers and restaurants.
- Attend community and networking events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Cold Calling & Lead Generation:
- Assist with outbound calls to prospective customers for appointment setting and follow-ups.
- Track and document interactions and outcomes in the CRM system.
- Marketing Projects:
- Support the creation of promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and videos.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new campaigns and marketing strategies.
Requirements: - Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to engage in cold calling and networking activities.
- Energetic, personable, and eager to learn.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends for events as needed.
