We’re seeking a creative and strategic Instructional Designer to support the development of virtual training content for a national supply chain audience.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to turn rough ideas into polished, effective training modules — using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, and other interactive platforms .
Whether it’s helping users learn how to hook a trailer or reworking outdated presentations, your work will directly impact how teams learn and grow.
What You’ll Do:
- Design virtual training content and presentations that are visually engaging and easy to follow
- Translate team ideas into structured, learner-friendly material
- Use tools like PowerPoint, Canva , and other design software to create polished instructional content
- Think from both the requestors and learner’s point of view to ensure clarity and engagement
- Help revamp backlogged or outdated training materials
- Work with a variety of subject matter experts, including supply chain professionals
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in instructional design with a strong, creative eye
- Portfolio showcasing a range of training materials (required with resume)
- Strong storytelling and communication skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint , Canva , and interactive training tools
- Ability to work independently and understand unstructured requests
- Experience or familiarity with supply chain or logistics audiences is a plus
- Located in the Houston area or east of the Mississippi preferred
