Our organization works with some of the most exciting, innovative companies across a diverse range of sectors and we are starting to built out our back-office and administrative functions. We are looking for a hands-on HR professional that can step into an IC role, handling the tactical day-to-day HR functions while also supporting and advising our leadership team on HR-related topics. As we continue to grow, this individual will have the opportunity to expand and elevate into more strategic areas, as well as support our global operating entities.

Responsibilities :

Take ownership of the HR business processes to ensure proper administration of HR functions and create efficiencies across the organization. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • The Manager partners with leaders to ensure HR policies and practices align with corporate objectives while championing a culture of continuous learning, growth, and engagement
  • Advises and provides recommendations on employee relations opportunities, workforce and succession planning, position descriptions, performance management, mediations, on/off-boarding and goal planning
  • Lead HR-driven initiatives that support organizational development, enhance engagement, and build a positive work environment
  • Design and own the onboarding/offboarding processes and take ownership of ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle
  • Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs and align with industry standards to attract and retain talent
  • Implement and manage programs related to employee benefits, FMLA, and other leave policies
  • Provides general expertise in HR functions to designated departments
  • Lead the teams, by example, to be ambassadors of our culture at every touch point.
  • Design and implement training, performance management, and safety programs
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of HR experience as a generalist
  • Experience in start-up environments
  • Must have hands-on experience (performing or managing) all aspects of HR
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, able to present and contextualize people data to senior leadership
  • Must possess a ‘doer’ mentality and an attitude of ‘do what needs to get done’
  • High emotional intelligence; trustworthy, transparent, and self-motivated
  • Strong managerial courage with the ability to provide direct feedback, coach, and develop leaders to become more effective in their roles
