Hiring Now: EHS Engineer (100% Onsite)
Location: Lexington, KY, 40511
Pay: $35–$45/hour (based on experience)
Duration: Through December 2025 – Possible Temp-to-Hire
We’re seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to join our team in a fully onsite role. This is a great opportunity to contribute to critical Environmental Health and Safety initiatives and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and implement EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs.
- Lead or assist in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments; support external audits.
- Manage corrective actions and support EHS compliance initiatives.
- Oversee permitting and regulatory requirements for air, water, and land.
- Serve as the primary site contact for government EHS inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 1–2+ years of EHS or similar experience.
- Strong understanding of health & safety engineering practices.
- Familiarity with ISO regulations and EHS compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and regulatory updates.
