Overview:
This role is focused on providing forensic accounting services, including investigations, litigation support, and expert analysis. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring public accounting experience, a CPA license, and a commitment to professional growth within a collaborative environment. This position offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid or remote capacity, with preference given to candidates near Atlanta or Chattanooga.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct forensic investigations and prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Support litigation and expert witness engagements with thorough, well-documented analysis.
- Collaborate with legal professionals and client personnel to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Review and oversee the quality of deliverables produced by project teams.
- Improve operational efficiency within the forensic practice and manage project costs effectively.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.
- Assist in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through professional networking.
Qualifications:
- CPA license (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience
- Progress toward or completion of an advanced forensic accounting credential
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in supervising and managing teams
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- Professional demeanor and client-focused approach
Preferred:
- Located in or near Atlanta or Chattanooga with ability to work in a hybrid model
- Remote candidates from other U.S. locations will also be considered
