Job Description

Assist with routine patient care activities under RN supervision, including admissions, transfers, discharges, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

• Prepare rooms, set up IVs, and ensure patient belongings are correctly transferred or discharged.
  
  
• Transport stable patients safely, maintain confidentiality, and respond to emergencies.
  
  
• Perform unit-specific care tasks, replenish supplies, and keep the environment organized.
  
  
• Identify patient condition changes and report promptly; communicate effectively with team members.
  
  
• Adapt care methods to meet patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental needs.
  
  
• Complete clerical duties and ensure proper documentation; assist with inventory management.
  
  
• Requires a CNA license, BLS certification, high school diploma preferred, with prior patient care experience preferred.
  
  
• Attend orientation and complete competency validations within 30 days of hire.
  
  
• Work schedule is per diem as needed.]]>
