EHS Manager EHS Manager
Position Overview The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and promote a safe workplace environment within the aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in compliance with EPA regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and internal policies.
- Lead incident investigations and prepare reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and education to employees on EHS best practices and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to promote safety in the production of aerospace composites and components.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to senior management.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in regulations related to EHS.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- In-depth knowledge of EPA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Certifications such as CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
- Experience with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) programs and initiatives.
- Familiarity with composites manufacturing processes and regulations is a plus.
