Key Responsibilities:
- Enter
and update data related to shipments, inventory, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain
accurate records of goods received, dispatched, and stored.
- Verify
data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare
reports and summaries based on entered data.
- Assist
in tracking shipments and updating status information.
- Maintain
confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Coordinate
with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments for data accuracy.
- Use
logistics management software and MS Office tools for data entry and
reporting.
- Support
internal audits and data validation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven
experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role.
- Proficient
in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management software.
- Good
typing speed and accuracy.
- Knowledge
of logistics operations and terminology is a plus.
- Attention
to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability
to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic
understanding of inventory management and tracking systems.
- High
school diploma or equivalent; higher qualifications are advantageous.
