Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Customs Broker who is eager to learn the trade and build a long-term career in customs brokerage. No prior customs experience is required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while learning U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and trade compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Learn how to prepare and submit customs documentation for imports and exports.
• Assist in classifying goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS).
• Support compliance with CBP and other federal agency regulations (FDA, USDA, EPA, etc.).
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and clients to ensure timely clearance.
• Help maintain accurate records for audits and compliance checks.
• Learn to identify and resolve issues related to shipment delays or documentation errors.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Excellent communication skills (bilingual in English/Spanish a plus).
Willingness to learn and adapt in a regulated, detail-driven industry.
Must be a Licensed Custom Broker.
