The Role

Our Insurance Consulting group seeks a Consulting Principal with Retirement Consulting and pension experience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ethics, work ethic, and a proven track record of building trusted relationships within the retirement/pension industry. They should serve as a thought leader, contributing to industry best practices through articles, whitepapers, and social media.

This role aligns with Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: Project Execution, Expertise, Business Development, Practice Development, and People Development. Responsibilities include partnering with clients, applying domain expertise, developing practice initiatives, and mentoring team members. Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or relevant field (Required)
• Advanced Degree preferred
• Approximately 20 years in the retirement/pension industry, including workplace DC and DB plans, annuities, NQDC, COLI, pension risk transfer, etc. (Required)

Responsibilities

• Represent Cognizant as a key member of the Retirement Consulting Practice.
• Assess clients' current retirement/pension maturity across various dimensions.
• Assist industry leaders in transforming their businesses.
• Plan value-add projects with leadership.
• Manage project economics and identify upsell opportunities.
• Lead RFI/RFP responses and business development efforts.
• Translate objectives into scope and tasks, coach team members, and ensure quality.
• Build practice capabilities through case studies, whitepapers, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to recruitment and onboarding efforts.
