We are seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Specialist to join our ENOUGH grant team. This role involves attending community events to collect survey data using tablet devices, aiming to gather insights that will inform and enhance our outreach and intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the ENOUGH grant at various community events across Prince George’s County.
• Engage with event attendees to encourage participation in surveys.
• Administer surveys using tablet devices, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Provide information about the ENOUGH initiative and build community trust.
• Report on outreach metrics and survey completions post-events.
• Offer feedback to improve outreach strategies and community engagement.

✅ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, public engagement, or fieldwork.
• Proficiency with technology, including tablets and survey software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and some weekday evenings.
• Reliable transportation within Prince George’s County.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus but not required.

Schedule & Duration

• Part-time, flexible schedule based on event calendar.
• Contract duration aligned with the ENOUGH grant period.

Over the years we’ve operated our programs at schools, churches, and community centers throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. We have implemented our programs with the YMCA and also produced a anti-bullying movie funded by the united way called Strings’ Dream. We then operated a 21st learning center program grant in Prince George’s County for 3 years in 3 schools and worked with over 200 students every year.
