Job Description
Medi Home Health Agency , a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., currently seeks an experienced Full-Time Clinical Manager (RN) for our Home Health patients in Pulaski, Hillsville (Floyd, Caroll Co., Wytheville, Pulaski, Hillsville, Dublin) VA.
Responsibilities include:
- Receives and approves requests for services, re-certifications, add-on orders, changes and/or discharges.
- Overseas the scheduling of all patient services.
- Audits physician's modified orders for accuracy, legibility and content prior to forwarding to physician's office for signature.
- Reviews and signs all lab reports. Notifies physician of any clinical facts as the relate to the patient's condition
- Conducts in-home supervisory visits.
- Initiates diagnostic, preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate to the client's care and safety.
- Observes, records and reports the client's reaction to treatment and any change in the client's condition.
- Teaches, supervises and counsels the client and family regarding home nursing procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the clients condition.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of MD from an accredited school of nursing required
- Must have proper knowledge of Home Health regulations and Reimbursement
- Minimum of one-year Home Health experience required
- Minimum of two years nursing experience
- Oasis experience required.
