Job Description
Quest Defense is looking for a CFD Engineer who has the expertise in GRIDPRO to perform CFD analysis for one of our OEM customers for gas turbine components.
What you will be doing:
- Use computational tools to perform CFD analysis for gas turbine components and turbomachinery
- Geometry (NX/Unigraphics) and mesh preparation (Gridpro)
- Model setup and analysis
- Post-process and prepare high-quality presentations of results
- Document all work according to customer requirements
- Prepare and present reports on findings on formal technical reviews
- Mentoring junior engineers
Required Skills:
- Expertise in GRIDPRO to perform CFD analysis for one of our OEM customers for gas turbine components.
- 1-5 years’ experience in Engineering Analysis, Aero-Thermal experience is a plus
- BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under time constraints, maintain composure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with ANSYS CFX, NX/Unigraphics, and Gridpro is a must have.
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Desired Skills:
• Exposure to Aero Engines is highly preferred
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance, might need to do this work in the future.
