Under direct supervision the Assembly Operator performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Must be available to work 2nd shift. Shifts are determined by business needs.
What You Will Do - Assemble all types of electrical/mechanical assemblies and circuit boards in the construction of units/systems.
- Perform a variety of tasks in the movement, stocking and issuing of orders, parts and assemblies.
- Perform routine data analysis and identify readily evident and/or recurring problems such as defective components, siring errors, alignment, etc.
- Maintain records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform chemical handling and recycling functions.
- Works from written procedures and/or oral instructions. Work is usually repetitive and is performed under general supervision.
- Perform other duties as may be required.
- This is a 2nd Shift position, based on business needs. Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications You Must Have - Requires HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must pass new hire and process training.
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.
Qualifications We Prefer - Assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Soldering experience preferred
- Must be open to work overtime and weekends as needed.
